Brand new in box. Last picture shows a more authentic color. It has a very strong cedar odor right out of the box.
Full disclosure: this is a replacement because the one I got in October was already showing wear after a month of being set up. Not sure if it was due to being outside all winter or quality. But I dont feel like building it and dealing with it again if it is quality.
